The Wardens are working with residents of all ages and agencies across Bromsgrove District to provide quick response to residents and assist in tackling priorities and delivering projects identified by Bromsgrove Community Safety Partnership's monthly Tasking Group.
Bromsgrove District Council accredited
West Mercia Constabulary's Chief Constable has approved the council being Accredited under the new Community Safety Accreditation Scheme arrangements.
The Accreditation scheme, which stems from the Police Reform Act 2002, means selected organisations and their representatives, can have powers conferred upon them to enable them to issue fixed penalty notices, confiscate alcohol and tobacco, ask for names and addresses, under certain circumstances stop vehicles to test them, escort abnormal loads and remove abandoned cars.
