Dog Fouling - Scoop the Poop.

Bromsgrove District Council requires people to pick up any faeces left by their dog on specific areas including public roads, footpaths and grass verges, parks and open spaces owned or maintained by the District Council.

If anyone does not remove faeces from land in these designated areas they may be issued with a minimum fine of £50.00 or they may be prosecuted. The maximum fine for such an offence is currently £1,000.

Bromsgrove Council provide designated dog bins situated throughout the district which are specifically for the disposal of dog faeces, it is requested that dog owners use these bins.

If your local bin is full please contact Bromsgrove District Council Customer Services to arrange for it to be emptied. If no bins are readily available the dog faecus should be taken home and disposed of in a hygienic manner.
