Access to Information

Bromsgrove District Council holds a lot of information on a variety of topics, most of which is available to the general public.

In this section you can find out how to access that information and more about the legislation that regulates the management of it.

The Council has produced a Publication Scheme  (91.40 KB) which lists some of the information already available, how to obtain it and if there is a cost.

If you would like to see information that is not listed in the Publication Scheme you can make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

You can also see information held about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.

The Council must supply a copy of the information unless an exemption applies under the relevant legislation.
