Bromsgrove District Council will not remove abandoned vehicles from private roads or land that is owned by the registered keeper.

The Authority is requested by law to remove abandoned vehicles as they are an environmental hazard, represent danger to the public, create a magnet for crime and blight our communities.

If you wish to report a vehicle that is untaxed please contact the DVLA Reporting of unlicensed vehicles on the public highway
On contacting the Council to report an abandoned vehicle please give as many details as possible such as;
Once Bromsgrove District Council has received a report of an abandoned vehicle, an officer will assess the vehicle and if considered abandoned the officer will make the necessary arrangements for the vehicle to be removed.
It is important that all cars parked within the district display a valid tax disc to ensure they are registered and insured by the owner and they are road worthy.
If you have had a vehicle removed please contact Bromsgrove District Council Customer Services and report at the earliest opportunity. There will be a fine incurred to retrieve any vehicle and to retrieve a vehicle you will need;
